Psychological Support
Therapy provides a confidential, supportive and collaborative context for exploring concerns. Evidence-based psychological strategies that have been shown to be effective are used to assist individuals to cope and meet challenges.
A variety of predominantly cognitive and behavioural methods including creative CBT/play-based and in-the-moment techniques are used.
Assessment
Comprehensive diagnostic assessment may be required for children, adolescents or adults. Testing can be conducted both onsite (clinic) and offsite (e.g., schools/other settings). Referral reasons may include:
- Investigating learning difficulties / educational assessment
- Diagnosing Autism, ADHD, Specific Learning Disorders in reading, writing and maths such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Intellectual Disability
- Cognitive Assessment / IQ testing
Workshops
Workshops and groups can be immersive or novel ways to put problems into perspective, learn skills and share ways of coping through engagement and social connection with others.

Michelle Elias
Michelle trained in behavioural science and psychology at La Trobe University and has a Master of Educational Psychology from the University of Melbourne. Educational psychology involves learning and development and behavioural science the study of human behaviour. She has worked as a child, adolescent and adult psychologist in private practice, mainstream primary schools and secondary schools and specialist autism settings.
